The ride is cancelled, there is still snow and ice along much of our ride route tomorrow. This means that shoulders are not available to us forcing us to stay in the lane of traffic. We would rather err on the side of caution. Hope to see you next week, leaving from the Newport Park & Ride in Bellevue.
The 2nd of our 8 week Winter Training Series rides starts and ends at the Woodinville Park & Ride. This updated route will take us through some of the delightful neighborhoods of north King and south Snohomish Counties. We will start our climbing out of Woodinville and take some back roads to Paradise Lake Road to Maltby. From there we will head towards Echo Lake and then down to the Lowell-Larimer Rd before climbing back up to Silver Lake. (Potty stop at Martha Lake Airport Park.) Return to Woodinville via Locust Way and Bothell. There are some steep descents so please be sure your equipment is in good condition.
