All riders are responsible for making their own overnight accomodations.
If you plan to stay at the overnight hotel and if you will be arriving very late, please let the hotel know when you make your reservation. Otherwise you risk losing your room.
Intermediate control times are no longer enforced. For planning purposes, the overnight control "opens" Saturday 08/23 at 5:36 PM (11:36 elapsed) and "closes" Sunday 08/24 at 7:32 AM (25:32 elapsed). SIR volunteers will staff the control during this time period. If you arrive outside these hours support may not be available.
Drop bag service is available, just bring your drop bag to the start (Denny's). SIR volunteers will haul your drop bag to the overnight hotel in Centralia on Saturday, then they will haul your drop bag to the finish hotel in Auburn on Sunday. For riders planning to ride-through (and not sleep at the overnight) we will make every effort to get your drop bag to the finish before you do.

The finish control opens Sunday 08/24 at 0:48 AM, closes Sunday 08/24 at 10:00 PM.
Parking
Parking is available on nearby residential streets. One pre-rider parked on 4th St NE near Auburn Way.
If you plan to spend Sunday night after the ride at the Garner Hotel (the finish location) you can park there. One of the pre-riders spoke with Iris at the front desk and was told you could visit the front desk Saturday morning and get a parking pass for your car.
Wherever you park, do not leave valuables in your car.

Registration opens Wednesday, July 23 at 12:00 Midnight (Pacific Time).

Advance registration is required. We cannot accommodate same-day registration.

Registration includes signing a responsibility waiver using the same SmartWaiver system used for RUSA Permanents. YOU MUST SUBMIT A COMPLETED WAIVER IN ORDER TO START THE RIDE. No waiver, no ride, no exceptions.

Current RUSA membership is required. Click here to create or renew your RUSA membership. Allow a few days in advance for RUSA verification. You'll need your final RUSA number (not a temporary number starting with T) to sign the waiver and register for the ride.

Current SIR membership is required. Click here to create or renew your free SIR membership. Once you log into your SIR account the Sign Waiver button will be visible at the bottom of this page.

General Rules
All riders must:
- Have current memberships in RUSA and SIR.
- Read and sign a waiver (part of the online event registration) before beginning the ride.
- Comply with local traffic laws as well as RUSA's Rules for Riders.
- Have front and rear lights, a reflective vest or sash, and reflective ankle bands. See RUSA Article 10 for details. Be prepared to show these to the ride organizer at the start. Lights should be on during any low-light conditions (rain, fog, night, tunnels, etc).
- Contact the organizer ASAP if they cannot finish (DNF). The organizer's contact info may be found on the brevet control card.
- Turn in their signed brevet control card at the ride finish.
- Check-in with the organizer or a volunteer at the start, the finish, at any overnight controls.
