Route Description

SIR’s Fall Rouleur series continues with an old favorite: RUSA Route #3437 “Crossing the Jordan Imperial Century". We’ll traverse quiet scenic roads, with several rolling hills (some steep but not too long) linking Redmond, Monroe, Granite Falls, Snohomish, and Woodinville. The route never strays too far from food/restocking supplies.

At the northernmost section, we cross the South Fork of the Stillaguamish River. The Jordan bridge deck could be slippery if wet. The steepest pitch comes immediate after that. There is heavy construction just before crossing the bridge, so please exercise caution. Wait for your turn and obey the directional traffic light if there isn’t a flagger. This is a fun route with some challenge (5000’ elevation gain). Enjoy a well earned beverage at the finish.

Parking

There is free public street parking near the finish on NE 65th Street. The trail parking near the start is often full with cars from the new apartment complex. For brevet events, it is recommended to avoid parking in the lot of Peet’s Coffee where signs indicate parking is for patrons.
