NEW ROUTE AS OF FRIDAY, 03/20!
Mother Nature is not exactly helping with this event. Due to flooding in the Snoqualmie River Valley we had made a last-minute change to a completely different route. The start and finish are unchanged (Diva Espresso & Stoup Brewing) but the route is new.
The RWGPS link has changed, so be sure you download the correct route to your GPS device.
RESCHEDULED FOR 03/21
This event was originally scheduled for 03/14. Due to a late-season snowfall on 03/13, this event has been rescheduled for 03/21.
Come Celebrate International Women's Day 2026!
Once again SIR is organizing a populaire to celebrate International Women's Day. This ride is open to all current RUSA members — all genders, LGBTQ+, non-binary, agender individuals, all religions, all worldviews, all political views, all cultures, all countries… EVERYONE! (Well... everyone with active RUSA and SIR memberships.)
Route Description
RUSA Route #3747 "I90 Two Lakes (Diva Start)"
This route features some of the areas best multiuse paths (the Burke-Gilman Trail, the East Lake Sammmaish Trail, and the Sammamish River Trail) and quiet roads along Lake Washington, Mercer Island, and Issaquah.
Since this route spends a lot of time on multiuse paths, please do not attempt to set any 100K PRs. The trails will likely be busy with people walking, jogging, pushing baby strollers, walking dogs, etc. Please pass other trail users with the same safety and respect you'd like to see from cars passing you on public roads.
Trinkets
In addition to the usual RUSA trinkets, special International Women's Day patches & stickers are available for purchase here:
