Preregistration has closed for this event. We cannot accommodate same-day registrations for this event. The 100K option is available for same-day riders.
Cost of this brevet is:
- $15 with online preregistration and prepayment before Friday, December 20, at 8 PM (Pacific Time)
- $25 for non-preregistered riders; that is, those who register and pay at the start
There will be two options for this year's Winter Solstice ride; a 100 km route and an overlapping 200 km route. Both will start and end at the AAA Washington headquarters building in Factoria (next to T-Mobile). We are grateful for AAA's hospitality, allowing everyone to park securely and get ready in a warm, protected venue. Arrive early for check-in and enjoy something to eat and drink ahead of your ride. If you have festive lighting for your bike, bring it along to add a splash of fun.
Showers and lockers available. You're welcome to change before the ride and/or clean up and warm up after the ride.
RUSA Membership: All riders must have current RUSA and SIR memberships (you'll enter your RUSA number during registration).

Fenders: If the weather is inclement you will make more friends if your bicycle has fenders with effective buddy flaps vs. no fender, no buddy flaps, or fake buddy flaps.
Lighting and Reflective Gear: required for this ride. At the start, have your front and rear lights on the bike and wear your reflective vest and ankle bands.
