Come join us on April 4th for the Olympia 200 km brevet. Escape the city and enjoy quiet rural roads south of Olympia. The route meanders through farmlands nestled in the valleys and is punctuated by a handful of gentle steep climbs.

The ride starts at Northwest Beerwerks in Lacey. We head west between Capitol Lake and West Bay for a glimpse of the state capitol in the background. We then head southwest on Delphi Road SW skirting the eastern edge of the Capitol Forest to the Mima Mounds Natural Area Preserve. The route turns west again up Bordeaux Road SW climbing to the peak elevation on the route of 250 m (820 feet). A descent down Cedar Creek Road with a few small climbs arrives at US-12. We head northwest along the Chehalis River valley to Porter Creek where a manned control with services awaits. If the wind carried you to the control, now is a good time to regroup in a peleton to share a draft for the next stretch. After the control, we head west over the Chehalis River and turn south onto South Bank Road. We take a turn to climp up Gerrard Creek Road followed by a gentle descent to Manners Road and two more small 100 m (300 feet) climbs. We arrive at Adna before turning northeast to Chelais, and north to Centralia. Instead of taking 507 to Bucoda, we head east through the coal ghost town of Tono, climb up a hill, and then down to Bucoda followed by Tenino. From Tenino we take the Yelm-Tenino Trail, the Chehalis-Western Trail, and then back to Lacey.
