Leap Day 10th Anniversary Populaire (2018 Reboot, 2020 Leap Day Refresh)

Come join us for a 100k populaire starting and ending in Bremerton. The organizer will come on the first ferry from Seattle and you are welcome to join on boat. The route goes west through Bremerton, past the Navy base and big boats. Then it turns right onto Belfair Valley Road and then up into the Seabeck hills. After a quick turn around at Camp Union on Holly Road, the route doubles over Newberry Road, down into Poulsbo, and then over to the Kingston Brewery. Retrace your pedals into Poulsbo and then head south into the magical land of Scandia on Viking Road, wending your way onto the inspirationally named Central Valley Road and then to Tracyton, and back to the ferry. Finish at Fritz's Fry House.

If you are riding with Bradley and Susan, you might be enticed to make a detour to Sluy's in Poulsbo for a pastry, and then fries at Fritz's. Mmmm. Sluy's and Fries. Needless to say, they will be riding sweep.

Parking: On street in Bremerton or in SODO in Seattle.

Note: All riders must have current RUSA and SIR memberships (you'll enter your RUSA number during registration).
Don't have a RUSA membership? Join here (or renew if your RUSA membership has expired).

This ride is self-supported. A volunteer will be at the start to take care of the signed release and ensure everyone has cards, but they will not wait after the ride start time. Don't be late! Print your own cue sheet and/or download the RWGPS route.

After the ride, riders will mail their cards to the address on the card by the date on the card — if you send your card later, you may miss out on getting your results recorded.
