To register online: sign in to your SIR member account. Don't have one? Create one. It's free!
Once you login the Register button will be visible on the right side of this page (or bottom for mobile browsers).
  • Advance registration is required — we cannot accommodate same-day registration.
  • Membership: All riders must have current RUSA and SIR memberships (you'll enter your RUSA number during registration). Don't have a RUSA membership? Join here (or renew if your RUSA membership has expired). Allow a few days in advance for RUSA verification.
  • Online registration is open until Thursday, April 8 at 11:59 PM (Pacific Time).
  • Ride cost is $15 paid online at the time of registration.
Registration has closed for this event. We cannot accommodate same-day registration at this time.

Due to continuing COVID-19 concerns, this will be a no-contact brevet with all online registration and no manned food controls. We encourage you to bring along your own food and drink, but the route does pass through numerous towns where there are opportunities to refuel. We will report separately on specific COVID-19 protocols, which will apply not only to this brevet but also to future rides for an indefinite time period.

The online registration includes signing a responsibility waiver (using the same SmartWaiver app used for RUSA Permanents). After registering, you'll receive a confirmation email containing a link to the SIR waiver. Complete and submit the waiver to finalize your registration.

With regard to the waiver, we're bound by RUSA insurance rules, which stipulate that riders confirm the email address entered on the waiver. Here's an overview of the process:
  1. Go to https://www.smartwaiver.com/v/rusaWASeattle, complete the waiver, including your email address. This link is also in your event registration email. To minimize confusion, please also use these for the appropriate fields in the waiver:
    • Designated Event: Spring 200K
    • Designated Event Date: April 10, 2021
  2. Once submitted, you will receive an email containing a link to verify the email address. Click on the link in the email. This will confirm the waiver.
  3. Once you've confirmed the waiver, you'll receive another email with a link to the completed waiver, and your registration will be finalized.
YOU MUST SUBMIT A COMPLETED WAIVER IN ORDER TO START THE RIDE

We’re pleased to announce the resumption of Seattle Randonneurs’ brevet series after a challenging 2020. Come join us for the Spring 200K to be held on Saturday, April 10, 2021.

Our route will take us on some familiar roads from other brevets as we ease back into the rhythm of randonneuring. Departing from the Northshore Athletic Fields parking lot, near the heart of Woodinville’s wine district and just off the Sammamish River Trail, we head north on a clockwise route. We will ride up to Snohomish, and then onward to Granite Falls before heading south for a loop along the shores of Lake Roesiger. A short ride southeast towards Sultan allows us to link up with Ben Howard Road (a personal favorite), where we will head south towards Carnation and Fall City. The climb up Issaquah - Fall City Road at 170km will test your legs, before we make our way back to Marymoor Park and a gentle finish up the bike trail to complete the ride.

We hope to see you there. It’s going to be a great start to the brevet season.

For all SIR events you must have front and rear lights, a reflective vest, and reflective ankle bands. Be prepared to show these to the ride organizer at the start. Your lights should be on during any low-light conditions (rain storms, night, tunnels).

You must read and agree to a waiver before beginning the ride, and you must turn in your signed brevet card at the end of the ride. If you will not finish, contact the organizer using the phone number on the card and cue sheet.
