Registration opens Wednesday, July 13 at 12:01 AM (Pacific Time).

  • Advance registration is required — we cannot accommodate same-day registration.
  • Membership: All riders must have current RUSA and SIR memberships (you'll enter your RUSA number during registration). Don't have a RUSA membership? Join here (or renew if your RUSA membership has expired). Allow a few days in advance for RUSA verification.
  • Online registration is open until Wednesday, August 10 at 11:59 PM (Pacific Time).
  • Ride cost is $10 paid online at the time of registration.

The online registration includes signing a responsibility waiver using the same SmartWaiver system used for RUSA Permanents.

This ride marks SIR's first use of RUSA's new relaxed gravel timing for brevets and populaires. While a traditional (asphalt) 102K populaire has a time limit of 6 hours 48 minutes, this 99% gravel route has a time limit of 8 hours 29 minutes.

Good lights are mandatory for the tunnel and warm clothes are recommended!

The ride starts at Vintage Baristas, formerly known as Pioneer Coffee. Some of the old signs are still present, so if you see either "Vintage Baristas" or "Pioneer Coffee" then you're in the right place.

For all SIR events you must have front and rear lights, a reflective vest, and reflective ankle bands. Be prepared to show these to the ride organizer at the start. Your lights should be on during any low-light conditions (rain storms, night, tunnels).

You must read and agree to a waiver before beginning the ride, and you must turn in your signed brevet card at the end of the ride. If you will not finish, contact the organizer using the phone number on the control card.
