Come ride with us to find out what randonneuring is about and capture photos with friends of the Swinomish Channel, birds, and valley with late autumn colors. We'll continue tapering off the 2022 SIR brevet season with our "Last Chance" Rouleur (pronounced "ruler") 159 KM RUSA Brevet Populaire (or simply Populaire).

Route Description
RUSA Brevet #2887 Snohomish - La Conner Out & Back - features Looking Glass Coffee, La Conner (multiple bakery and coffee options), Spada Farmhouse Brewery
The route features low elevation (below 110 meters/360 feet), gradual railroad trail grades with flat farm pastures, on rural roads against a scenic backdrop of the Cascade foothills and maybe a peek of Mt. Baker.
From the start in Snohomish, make a gentle climb on the Centennial Trail until passing under the HWY 9 overpass. Descend down into Arlington for a restroom pit stop, coffee (off-route one block), or baked goods. Make another gradual climb past Lake McMurray before descending down HWY 534 to Conway. Meander across the flats out to La Conner, with a chance to see Bald Eagles perched in trees. Grab some baked goods (or breakfast/lunch) at La Conner (multiple options). Return back to Snohomish for a finish at Spada Farmhouse Brewery.
Parking
Parking is available in Snohomish near the start on side streets. Due to the large number of riders for these brevets, consider parking away from the businesses on 1st Street that are more convenient for walking customers. As a general recommendation, avoid storing things of value in your car, certainly not visible.
Food
In the spirit of self-supported randonneuring and keeping ride fees to a minimum, food and drinks will not be provided by the club for the Winter Rouleur Series. Bring your own food and beverages. Food & services are noted on the route.
