Olympia 200

Preregistration has closed for this event. You can still ride! Please show up to the start at least 30 minutes early to get registered. Bring cash or a check to pay the $25 fee.

Cost of this brevet is:
$15 with online preregistration and prepayment before Thursday, April 4, at 8 PM.
$25 for non-preregistered riders; that is, those who register and pay at the start.

Come join us on April 7 for the Olympia 200 km brevet. Escape the city and enjoy quiet rural roads south of Olympia. The route meanders through farmlands nestled in the valleys and is punctuated by a handful of steep climbs perfect for PBP training.

Start at 8 AM from the La Quinta in Tumwater.  Come 30 minutes early for registration/sign-in.
(We don't recommend parking at the hotel unless you're staying there. Recommended parking is in the school district parking lot at 419 Linwood Ave SW, Tumwater, WA 98512.)

The ride will start at the La Quinta in Tumwater (especially convenient for riders looking to do the 300k on Saturday and the 200k on Sunday). We will head south, skirting the eastern edge of the Capitol Forest to the town of Rochester. Stock up here because there are no services for the next 30 miles. Eventually, we come back to the Chehalis River and follow the west side of the valley into Centralia. Instead of following the STP route to Buccoda, we will take the scenic route away from the busy highway through the Tono Hills and loop around Johnson Creek. The final 30 miles should be a relaxing finish along the Chehalis Western Trail back to Olympia.

This will count as a 200km qualifying brevet for Paris-Brest-Paris.

Lights and reflective gear are required for this ride. At the start, have your front and rear lights on the bike and wear your reflective vest and ankle bands.

RUSA membership is not required, but is strongly recommended, especially if you are using this ACP 200K to qualify for Paris-Brest-Paris. Results will be posted via the RUSA website, which only displays for members.
