Come join us Sunday June 9 on beautiful Whidbey Island for a variation of the 998 Whidbey Coast Permanent. We think your legs will appreciate this ride.This is a hilly course on mostly back roads with scenic views thoroughly mixed into about 2400 meters (7900 feet) of total climbing. The route features many small-town establishments to fuel your energy needs with real food. The ride will count as an ACP 200 km qualifying brevet for Paris-Brest-Paris.

Mukilteo: Various park and ride locations. 4 hour street parking on 3rd, 4th, and 5th Street up from the ferry terminal are rumored to be unenforced on the weekend; use at your own risk.
Clinton: SR 525 at Clinton P&R
From Mukilteo take the 7:00 AM ferry. Note that the ferry crossing is a quick 15 minutes. Tickets can be pre-purchased http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/ferries/wave2go/
. Print your ticket at your printer's highest resolution. You need a hard copy. The scanner does not scan bar codes on phones. Pre-purchasing tickets is mostly used by folks with automobiles. Bikes have their own ticket scanner on the left at the Mukilteo terminal. Bikes do not pay for the return from Clinton.
On the 7:00 AM ferry in the passenger galley at a table near the bow port side; and at the start location at 7:30 AM.
