Get your evening start and night riding practice before PBP. This 400K features the same starting time as the I-wave 90-hour goup at PBP—close to the starting time of many SIR riders. Beginning at the cafe in Rambouillet—sorry, Beginning at the Starbucks in Redmond (address below), this route has plenty of rolling hills and back roads with one bigger climb up to Baker Lake. While services are limited and SIR-staffing is light, you might try imagining applause and accordions, placing yourself on the Roc'h Trevezel of the Armorican Massif in Brittany's Monts d'Arrée, not the foothills of Mount Baker in Washington state's Cascades. Come PBP, you'll be prepped and ready to ride through the first night and on to Brest.
Registration/Sign-in: 5:30 PM at the start.
Start: July 12, 6:00 PM at Starbucks 17196 NE, Redmond Way, Redmond
Finish: Starbucks 17196 NE, Redmond Way, Redmond
